Slowform — Arita Espresso Cup

Slowform creates everyday objects that balance traditional craftsmanship with a contemporary approach to daily use.

Made in Arita, Japan – a region with a 400-year history of porcelain production – this espresso cup reimagines the familiar silhouette of classic stackable café glassware in refined porcelain form.

Slip-cast using a custom blend of natural Touseki (porcelain stone) with iron and sand added, each piece has a unique mineral-speckled finish. The exterior is left unglazed with a smooth matte texture, contrasted by a glazed interior designed to resist staining from coffee over time.

With a 100ml capacity, the cup is designed for espresso and smaller milk-based drinks, and is just as suited for home brewing as it is café service.
